Hello. I'm 22 years old and have recently found a small lump in my left breast. I showed the doctor and sent me by an ultra sound. Well, during the ultrasound lady was having trouble finding the package, but then was like "Ohh .. there is" and photographed. Anyway, she sent and where they had to go to my gynecologist called me back and said everything was negative … but to return in 3 months get it checked again. (she said it could be a cyst stopping the pill and should disappear, but it hasn't been on a month to date). Im just very nervous that were lost and that something is wrong …. you get a second opinion or just wait for three months until I go again (June). It is also common cancer in someone at my age? Thanks
It is common in young women. I myself was diagnosed last June at age 27 with Stage 2 breast cancer. Everyone thought in a first it was a cyst or benign tumor. challenging me to go for a second opinion, do not wait until June. Go see a breast surgeon. Insist on a biopsy. I mammography and ultrasound, all signs pointed to normal, young dense breast, blah, blah, blah. I had a lumpectomy in July followed by 8 rounds of chemotherapy vigorous. There was still some precancerous cells remained So she opted for a double mastectomy in February. Please do not wait, do not wear this. No use sorrow. Good luck! Xo
